I grew up in the Hanover area and graduated Southwestern High School in 2014. From an early age of 13, I felt God calling me to pastoral ministry. I have covered preaching for Baptists, Presbyterians, and many UMC churches throughout my life. After graduating high school, the Lord led me to attend Indiana Wesleyan University where I obtained a Bachelors' Degree in Christian Ministries and a Masters of Art in Spiritual Care.

In 2018, I met the love of my life, Jessica. When we got married in the summer of 2020, we fell in love with serving alongside each other in ministry. As we began to settle into our new home, we earnestly prayed for God to move in this city and ultimately all of Jefferson County. Jessica and I have been serving Madison since the summer of 2021 and we are certain God is at work.

 

Since the launch of Hope Valley Church, new families and youth are energized for the Gospel. I am sure you have heard this from a lot of churches, “Come try us out, we are different.” I can say with confidence that our mission is for us to go to you rather than you come to us.

 

When you visit Hope Valley, you will leave inspired, fulfilled, and empowered to go out into the world. This church is a place where you walk in and immediately feel like family. We are HOME!

 

Our focus is building bridges from the unbeliever to the believer, the lonely to our church family, and the hurting to the healed. We are a church full of broken people who have been transformed by the life of Jesus Christ.​

 

As I close with this scripture, I pray that God will ignite your faith as you hear these words from John. May you feel blessed by the love of Jesus Christ.

 

“You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.” John 15:16​​
